1 Lovett 2 Marcello 3 Tanner 4 OJ 5 Scarbs 6 Deano 7 Collier 8 Hodgie 9 Dundas 10 Smith 11 Matthews
Not a great performance but Dundo missed a one on one and Hodgie a sitter before Lewes scored. Also their keeper was man of the match. Tarpey looked dangerous when he came on as sub and Yaks had a shot saved in injury time but to be honest Lewes also had other decent chances and probably deserved their win.

Not a great performance?!...Joe, Lewes had only one match in the league prior to today

frustrating to say the least, we only seemed to come alive in the last 10 minutes. tarpey and ash both looked great using their pace down the wings. i really like the idea of having them on together on each wing making runs and feeding balls to strikers. the goal was down to some shocking defending on our part. very disappointing loss i feel we could have nabbed a point near the end but the team never really gelled early enough.

having said all that i think the squad selection was spot on with no more harps & jon, and no franny or trig to choose from.

I think you will find that Lewes have now played 16 games

what a surprise we get rid of two defenders and all of sudden we being cut open far more than usual. dundas needs to release the ball quicker as he holds on to it too long on his runs many a time.

Do you have any idea about how football works at this level?? Or are you just another johnny come lately who thinks that we get millions of pounds from sponsors and tv rights because that's what happens in the premier league.

Oh, and don't tell me that you don't rate Dundas (our best player this season by a LONG way) along with Trigger. I don't care if you have 'done some coaching', to think that you know how to run the team better than Dev is without doubt the funniest thing I have heard in a long time. I'm sure the management team would have liked to keep Harps, Jon and JC but if he has to trim the squad down then Dev has my backing (for what it's worth) to cull whoever he thinks he thinks gives him the least value for money.

I am getting exasperated (sp?) with the comments some people are making on here lately.

IN DEV WE TRUST.

I would just like to agree 100% with Colin's post as it sums up my opinion perfectly.
I seem to recall Lewis0071 saying that everyone is entitled to their opinion, well mine is that he talks a load of rubbish
