We are 7 points off the play offs! Over 25 games to go and we are being written off by everyone including are own fans. Everyone is going to drop points we just need to ensure we win when the teams above do this. Im 100% sure that we will make the play offs and congrats to Dev on winning manager of the month. Now lets keep faith in the side we have they have done it before and will do it again!

Exactly negative from our own fans as I was saying. Harps was a good player and a nice bloke who had good relationships with the fans. He often made some cracking runs down the right wing for his cross to be sliced off for a goal kick except the odd occasion but he was starting to be out paced by the power of youth and it was starting to cost us. We have luckily many good players who can play rb (jon m, marc). The point i was making was i think the fans should acknowlede the play offs are more capable than most think. Results are improving now and lets not forget 7 points isnt a lot even in the premier league!

Don't even start at slagging of Harps cos you will make alot of people including me very angry. Harps was one of the most consistant crossers of the ball I have ever seen at this level, and if you can't see that then I have no idea what games you have been watching. You say you would prefer Jon McDonald there! Please... a left footer playing at right back, you are crazy. You are the sort of football fan who thinks Michael Carrick is world class!

Errr, Carrick is World Class. How he gets left out of the England team amazes me. Is there a better passer of the ball in the Premier League? I don't think so, and I'm hardly a Manure fan so you can't say I'm biased.

I challenge you Sir

Firstly you're biased - Carrick hails from the North-East played for Wallsend Boys Club who I understand play in black & white stripes :)

and I give you Mikel Arteta to trump your Michael Carrick in passing skills

Although Carrick is a Wallsend lad he has never played for or stated his love for NUFC so there is no reason for any such favouritism.

I like Arteta, he is also in the top bracket of midfielders IMO. What I would say though is that both he and Carrick made moves to second level PL clubs at similar times Arteta hasn't made the step to a top level club. I can only assume that no one has really gone for him as surely a bid of £15M or upwards would be enough to prise him away from Everton. You could make a case for a lot of players as to who is the best midfielders in the country but for effective passing, inventive delivery, pass completion, consistency and the number of balls that create chances for teammates, then Carrick is my pick.
