According to the Farnborough forum he has signed for us. No doubt we will get confirmation once all the paperwork has been completed.

Location: A bit to close to Kingsmeadow...
Dev has said in the press that he is looking at a couple of new players and who knows there may be some this evening...or there may not.

Any updates will be on the website tomorrow morning.

Although there will no doubt be some live scores on the forum tonight to prempt any news.

Stef a very diplomatic answer! One can read between the lines or not! Looking forward to the team this evening.

For those interested.

Farnborough record
2004/5 App 3 [sub13] Goals 4 at Conference National
2005/6 App 13[8] 8 at BSS level
2006/7 43[9] 21 at BSS level
2008/9 43[6] 25 at Southern league level

2007/8 Was at Woking but soon left for Basingstoke where he got about 8 goals in 31 appearances. Not his best season, but it started badly at Woking.
A recent quote when he was transfer listed.
'Striker Charles, who also works as a Community Officer for the club, has been placed on the transfer list.
Charles rejoined Farnborough last summer from Basingstoke Town, and he went on to finish as the club’s top goalscorer with 25 goals.
However, the summer arrivals of Dean McDonald, Kezie Ibe, Anthony Thomas and Bradley Bubb put his place under threat.
King said that after a discussion between the pair, it was decided that the best way forward was for Charles to leave the club, as he was not prepared to be fifth choice and wants to play week-in-week-out.
“I have spoken to Michael and he is in agreement that we part company,” he said. “I know that he is a fans’ favourite here, and that he does a lot of good work for the club in the local community.
“But this was purely a football decision and he has dropped down to fifth in line for a start up front. After a long chat Michael thought it was a good idea as well, as he feels that his opportunities will be limited here, and he is keen for a fresh challenge.'

I stand to be corrected but I have a feeling he played a few games for the old Farnborough supporters side before going on to better things.
