Nice to see Scott Tarr at Bedfont Sports on Saturday playing for Frimley Green in the Combined Counties League.

Must be a good few years since Scott wore a Hampton (Goalkeepers) shirt.

Sorry, my fault. Perhaps i should have explained that Scott used to play for Hampton.

Yes Captain some of us are aware. But I'm not really sure what you expect as a response?

It's also probably been a few years since Mr.Tarr has been physically able to fit into a Hampton shirt. That good enough for you.

I'm not sure what i expected but nevertheless i'm impressed that at least one person has responded to my post. I therefore announce you as the winner of the 'Yes, i remember that ex-Hampton player' competition and that you will soon be the proud owner of a Chupa Chups lollipop. :D

I`m claiming the lollipop!

Scott Tarr, debut 4th September 1993, 36 appearances.

Came in for the 4th game that season v Chertsey Town (0-2, not a good start!).replaced David Hook (first two games) and Harvey Stillman ( 1 game, what a great name). Scott`s last game, after 36 consecutive appearances, away to Banstead, 5th March (another 0-2 reverse!). Replaced by Julian Roberts (2 games) and for the rest of the season by the inimitable (and well proportioned, Steve Osgood).

A strange season for keepers, David Hook had been ever present for several seasons and then after he left we went through four for the rest of 93/94!

Amazing... we lose our first two games and the only player people want to write about is a fat ex keeper

How about a constructive chat about how our current players have performed this season to date

That's more like it!

Excellent research Sir Les. I award you one Chupa Chups Magics lollipop (far superior to the ordinary version i awarded to Jamie) for your efforts.

I remembered the name but not really watching him. Although I remember we gave him a cheer away at Basingstoke I think when he was playing for them.
