Yes Lee without a doubt.
They have all been told, all they are waiting for is a date.

There are eight leaving me this season all of which stand a resonable chance of progressing in the reserves, but one to look out for when he is on form is Charlie Herrington.

There are also two or three in the youth team that would not be out of place either.

Having supported the idea of having a reserve team to help with progression from the youth team for a long time and now when we are committed to having a 'proper' Reserve Team I can't understand why the best of these lads have not been signed up for this team, or at least told to attend the pre-season trials for places in the reserves.
Has Mike been asked by the new reserve team manager to write a short description of the strengths and weaknesses of each of the youth team leavers so between them they can liase with each other and decide which players would benefit from going straight into a Conference South standard of reserve football and who would better be placed elsewhere to develop skills and physique more slowly, then join the reserves at a later date?
This is the MOST important development for our club for a long time, to involve the local community's young/talented players in the football club.
It needs to be managed 'properly' and in a professional way, to coordinate Michael's coaching team's great work with the youngsters with the development of our local young talent into the 'adult' teams.

Once the club are seen to be doing this properly, more of the 'local' young footballing talent may ask Mike to trial for the youth team, so the quality of the youth team squad could improve too.
I noticed that some of our competitors this year [eastbourne for one] seemed to have at least half of their first team squad filled with 'home grown' talent.

Mawgan, I'm pretty sure that message was posted before the announcement of the reserve team, and if you look Mike has replied to Lee saying the lads would be attending the trials.
