Looks like our Abdul has impressed some football managers recently since his team Gretna have been imploding. I'm not surprised !!
Abdul has just signed a two year contract for Kilmarnock, after turning down the chance to sign for Northampton Town !!! He's on his way!!!
Are we going to going to collect a photo of him and add him to our hall of fame of ex-Hampton players who have made it into the professional game.
You can see him on the BBC website on the Scottish football section.

What hall of fame photo's would those be?
I've always though it would be good if Hammonds had pics/shirts of former players who went onto bigger things. They have it at Staines and it looks good to show how the club developes talent.

Playing top level football is alot different to non league football. Being good in the Premiership doesn't mean you would do well in non league or visa versa. Top flight football defenders rarely get closed down and put under extreme pressure etc. You cannot link the two.

I understand he was out of contract and as he is either 24 or 26 years of age, [depends what version you read]. Staines are entitled to nothing.

| One player that is moving who will make a difference to their chances next season is Mark Nwokeji, he's moving to a very lucky Dagenham and Redbridge. Not sure if its a bigger and better thing, they didn't really deserve to stay up in league 2. |
It's hardly surprising that a Football League club would be interested in the Ryman League top goalscorer is it?
Mawgan, of course it's a bigger and better thing. Just repeat these words:
Ryman League.........Football League. Get it?

Thank you Geoff!! I was being a little ironic here, having seen the 'quality' of Dagenham twice last season, they weren't much better than Hampton (or Staines) and should have lost to Chesterfield about 11-1. To be fair they did slightly improve in the last six games to avoid the drop!
