At least the scapegoat for this season has now gone so we will see.
In regards to new signings Jamie.
No chance.
Lee, I know you rated him but you can't argue that he didn't perform for us at all and the stats back it up.
3 pts from a possible 24 with him starting. 14 pts from 18 without him.
There's no doubt he had ability but either he isn't up to his previous standards, his injuries/health problems are worse than thought or he was simply not interested. If we still play like a pub side without him you can rub everyone's nose in it. He came with a big rep and failed to live up to it. Obviously your old man doesn't think he has been worth the investment or he wouldn't have let him go.
Ask Stef for real reason he has gone as he knows and I am not going to broadcast it.
My point with Jamie is that no we didn't see the best of him which I can't argue with and even the player himself said that.
When the lad was very good like away to Braintree in the cup and then at home he still never got the credit he deserved. Its a team game and apart from Dundas who else has had a good season so far ??
You could count on 1 hand but yet no mention of other lads apart from Jamie and 1 man doesn't make a team although Dundo has come close to it at times.
Thats why I would defend him all day long.
Maybe the way we play didnt suit him but he is a very good player and time will tell how he does @ Newport but he has had a good start.

The problem he had was that the rest of the squad is always going to be given time after the last three years. We can let them off because they have done it for us time and again. When a new player comes in they need to hit the ground running or they'll get the blame for the disruption to our form. Look at Dundas. He has come along and been fantastic, as you said nobody apart from him has played well at all. JC didn't do that, he looked a passenger most of the time and given the way we are used to seeing our midfielders play he was a serious let down. I didn't see the away game at Braintree but he was excellent in the replay and I thought that would be the turning point - both for him and the team - but it didn't happen.
I'm sure he'll be a big success at Newport, no doubt picking up a championship medal in the process.
I agree with Larry. Six years plus of excellent service and a consistent performer. I'll particularly remember his cameo performance in the MSCup Final against Hendon when he came on for the last 10 minutes and looked like a white Drogba (the most acceptable aspects of Drogba's game!)

Agreed, Harps has been an excellent player for us over the years. Sadly though time catches up with us all and he has become prone to injuries a bit over the last couple of seasons which means we haven't seen him at his best recently.
Whatever he does next, a new team or something else, I'm sure we all wish him well.

Yes Lee I have stated in a few previous comments that from Braintree in the cup where jamie had a very good game his performances have been improving. He was poor at the start but usually these kind of people are the best Ferguson won nothing in his first couple of years in charge now look at him! Think we will mabye lack a bit in midfield now although nathan c did play well yestarday and is franny back soon?
