back to winning ways with a three goal burst in the first 20 minutes from Stuart Lake (2) an Robbie Kember. Lake's free kick took a heavy deflection for the first, his second much more emphatic. Kember caught the Weston keeper off his line with a well placed chip. Weston pulled one back before half time and Yaku had one disallowed for what might have been a push but looked a bit harsh. Kember scored a second from close range to make the ponts certain and the game petered out a bit. We picked up a couple of injuries to MaCauley and Hodges. Stephen Cook came on for MaCauley for his debut and showed some nice touches. Elliot Braithwaite also got a debut in defence in for OJ and Steve Tyson was the third debutee as a late sub. By the end we looked quite a different side from the oner that finished last season. A comfortable win in the end and a much improved perfotmance from what I hear about Tuesday night.
