i ll take that tyvm. a point from a potentially very tricky game in our current form is really a result to celebrate.

A good point, now to follow that up with three points on Saturday.

It was a much better performance than Saturday, we created several good chances, in the first half Yaks had a couple saved, Scarbs forced the keeper in to an excellent stop and we hit the bar and post. Second half we tired a bit in the last 20 and Eastleigh probably should have put one of their chances away, still looked a little shaky at times but competed well and gave no quarter against a BIG eastleigh side (and I mean BIG, the average height was about 6 feet 2!)

Yaks looked sharp until he ran out of steam, and Dundas was excellent, Harps played well at right back abd both Tanns and Marc on the wings kept going.

An good point won....need to pick up three against Maidenhead on Saturday now

Its time we had a change, thearsenal lot from last nights victory against liverpool showed age is not a factor and i think its time we gave the younger bunch from the reserve a run out.

I say Dev should drop all the first team and just put out the reserves against Maidenhead. That way when they get thumped 5-0 all the people moaning will give it a rest and accept that Dev knows what he is doing. We have had six good seasons on the bounce, it had to end sometime. We won't get relegated so let's just let the team and management get on with it.

While I'm thinking about it, let's just have a look at the teams our reserves are beating this season.

2nd Leighton Town (Zamaretto League Div 1 Midlands - Step 4)
3rd Bedfont (Combined Counties Prem - Step 5)
4th Hemel (Zamaretto Prem - Step 3)
5th Chalfont St Peter (Spartan Sth Midlands Prem - Step 5)
6th Chesham United (Zam 1 Mids - Step 4)
7th Boreham Wood (Ryman Prem - Step 3)
8th Harefield United (SSM Prem - Step 5)
9th Camberley (CC Prem - Step 5)
10th Sandhurst (CC Prem - Step 5)
11th North Greenford Utd (CC Prem - Step 5)
12th Tring (SSM Prem - Step 5)
13th Cove (CC Prem - Step 5)
14th Newport Pagnell (United Counties League Prem - Step 5)
15th Hartley Wintney (CC Div 1 - Step 6)
16th AFC Hayes (Zam 1 S&W - Step 4)
17th Bracknell (Zam 1 S&W - Step 4)
18th Leverstock Green (SSM Prem - Step 5)

And what you have to also take is that the players they are up against are not good enough to make it in to the first teams of their respective clubs. Our lads SHOULD be smashing them. I actually know people who play for Bedfont Reserves. I myself have played in a Step 5 first team. That's how low the standard is. I'm not saying they aren't doing well and maybe one or two could slip into the first team alongside the experienced players but to suggest that they are better than the firsts is stretching it.

I think the reserves beat maidenhead last season Colin 3-0 away from home and that is a bit of a disrespect to them as they are doing very well and are a good side. No one is questioning that Dev doesn't know what hes doing just the players are showing a lack of spirit it seems when the goings get tough. Im sure some good results are round the corner once we bring in Dave Tarpey a player with really quality. :)

I disagree with what you've said about the reserves lewis as the team is completely different from last season although i do agree with you about david tarpey, the way he chases balls back winning throws and causing the other team to make mistakes is brilliant while he's also a great danger going forward with his pace.
