I've been thinking to myself for two weeks now that Hampton could ask for him to be loaned back to try and push us over the line in the title race!

I'm sure they would have done us the favour... ARGGGHHH!!!

Well done to Ben today - he scored both goals for Kettering in a 2-1 win.....

Just to let you all know that Ben has a first team number for next season and hopes to break into the squad as soon as possible. My Dad sent me the local paper with the news about Ben. Always been a Posh fan as well as a Beaver so good that Ben is at the Posh

Ben 'Jedi' Wright looked sharp and played the full 90mins in the pre-season friendly against St Albans City FC helping himself to a Hat-trick.

Have you been watching Ben Wright's progress??? Amazing!!
He's had games against St Albans, Aston Villa and Spurs.
He was lucky initially because there were some first team players with flu including Aaron Maclean, so he got his chance to impress. He did at St Albans with a hat trick (but manager Darren Ferguson wasn't there because he had the flu). Ben had a chance to impress Martin O'Neill and Harry Rednapp, in the latest matches, I'm sure he did. There are pictures of Ben in the pre-season friendlies photos on the BBC Football page, tussling with Aston Vila's striker Steve Sidwell and if you go on to the Peterborough website a picture of Ben in the Spurs match PLUS an interview with Aaron, talking at great length about Ben and his new found competitor for a striking role at Posh. 'Mclean wary of Wright Competition!!' He's obviously worried, which shows how Ben has improved. :D
We did have a sell-on clause and all sorts of extra bonuses didn't we??
Guess who are Posh's next 'friendly' opponents today? FULHAM FC, what a coincidence, if Ben plays he can show them what they missed out on!!

Peterborough have signed another striker this week (from Crawley). Hopefully Ben will stay ahead of him in the pecking order.

Brief BBC interview with Ben shortly after Harford's departure: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/footbal ... 291555.stm

Looks like he was replaced on 60 minutes by the eventual match winner in Saturday's defeat of Kidderminster

Yes Jamie sorry I gave everyone duff info on Ben, my sources let me down at Salterland. Macca's Ben Wright is a rough old Irish Navvy.

Oh yeah the left winger/striker one. Mawgan wrote as if he had been at the game.
